Man who had previously pleaded not guilty to allegations has charges dismissed

A MAN who had previously pleaded not guilty to the two charges he faced – engaging in sexual activity in a lavatory to which the public had access at Strand Road in Coleraine and committing an act of a ‘lewd, obscene and disgusting nature’ by exposing himself to a male – has had the charges dismissed.

The case was mentioned at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday where the prosecution offered no evidence.

Thomas James Brennan (44), of Carnany Court, Ballymoney, had been charged in relation to April 10 this year.
