Man who is ‘no stranger’ to court admits pharmacy theft

A JUDGE said a man who admitted stealing a Gillette razor set worth £18 from Boots Pharmacy at Queen Street in Ballymena is “no stranger” to the court.

Sean William Leitch (33), of Ballyclug Mews in the town, had the case mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where his solicitor was Stewart Ballentine.

The offence happened on March 12 this year.

The case has been adjourned by District Judge Nigel Broderick to October for a pre-sentence report.
