Man who stole items worth £5.20 in Ballymena is fined £100

A MAN who stole goods worth £5.20 from a shop in Ballymena town centre last March has been fined £100.

Paul James Bowers (29), of Kilgreel Road in Antrim, admitted a charge of theft relating to the Co-Op at Broughshane Street in Ballymena.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court  where the defence solicitor was Andrew Kinney.
