Man’s bail bans him from entering part of town

A man with a Ballycastle address who is accused of assaulting two people on July 1 this year has had his bail varied to live at Fogarty Crescent in the town.

Stephen John Brown (54), originally of Stroanshesk Park, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on August 19 where his defence solicitor was Sam Barr.

The defendant’s bail conditions include being banned from Stroanshesk Park and the case has been adjourned to mid-September.
