Offence came to light following Lidl car park collision

Targeted by Plostnieks: Lidl in Ballymena.

When another driver reversed into her vehicle at the Lidl carpark in Ballymena it emerged a woman only had a provisional licence and was unaccompanied.

Agata Podolec (51), of Murob Park in Ballymena, had gone shopping on February 8 this year.

In her absence at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday, the defendant, who was represented by solicitor John McAtamney, was given three penalty points and a £150 for being an unaccompanied L driver.
