Taxi driver admits breaching Non-Molestation Order

Court

A TAXI driver who contacted his ex-wife on a number of occasions in breach of a Non-Molestation Order has been fined £200.

Jamshid Nariany (49), with an address listed as Ballyveely Road, Cloughmills, committed the offence on dates between October 15 and December 8 last year.

The court heard the woman “felt harassed” by the contact.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court, defence barrister Michael Smyth said messages sent by the defendant were “quite benign”.
