Two men are charged with damaging supermarket shelves on July 12

Sainsbury's in Ballymena

Two men have been charged with causing damage to shelving at Sainsbury’s in Ballymena on July 12 this year.

They are Keith Balmer (26), of Drumtara, Ballymena and Jordan Wilson (26), of Galgorm Road, Ballymena.

They are also accused of stealing food worth £10.90 and being disorderly.

Wilson is also charged with assaulting a man.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Balmer was remanded in custody until August 15.

Wilson was given £200 bail with a condition banning him from Sainsbury’s in Ballymena.

His case was adjourned to August 29.
