Woman accused of fraud is banned from Tower Centre as part of bail conditions

A WOMAN accused of fraud at shops has been banned from entering the Tower Centre in Ballymena as part of bail conditions.

Jamie Marie Henry (30), with an address at Clifton Crescent in Belfast, is accused of two counts of fraud by false representation.

It is alleged that on June 7 this year she dishonestly made a false representation that she had previously purchased jeans and a wallet with the intention to cause a loss to DV8 in Ballymena.

On June 10 this year it is alleged she dishonestly made a false representation, ‘namely requested a full cash refund for a pair of jeans that staff believe were obtained through fraud’ with the intention of causing a loss to DV8 at the Buttercrane shopping centre in Newry.

The defendant is also charged with adapting a till receipt for use in fraud.

She appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court and was released on £500 bail. Her case was adjourned to Antrim Magistrates Court.
