A WOMAN bit a police officer on the arm and was disorderly inside an ambulance and also at Antrim Area Hospital where she was shouting and swearing, Ballymena Magistrates Court heard.

Jennifer McCosh (44), of Old Cullybackey Road, Cullybackey, was at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday where sentencing was deferred until June.

District Judge Nigel Broderick said he wanted the defendant to stay out of trouble and also to continue to “engage positively” with a ‘support hub’.

The court also heard the defendant had been disorderly at a pub in Ballymena in January 2019.
