Woman charged with stealing from pharmacy in Ballymena elects to have case dealt with at Crown Court

A WOMAN accused of stealing make-up, perfume and jewellery worth £105 from Woodside’s Pharmacy has elected to have the matter dealt with at the Crown Court.

Kelly McKee (27), of no fixed abode in Ballymena, is charged in relation to December 2 last year.

On Thursday she appeared via video link from prison at Ballymena Magistrates Court.

The case has been adjourned to mid-March back at the Magistrates Court ahead of a Preliminary Enquiry – the legal step for the matter to be sent to Antrim Crown Court.
