Woman denies stealing £300 worth of goods from shops in Ballymena

A WOMAN denies stealing more than £300 worth of goods from TK Maxx and DV8 in Ballymena.

Lynsey Hamill (39), with an address listed as Mayo Street in Belfast, is alleged to have committed thefts on June 4 this year.

She appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court and pleaded not guilty to charges of theft of clothing worth £97 from TK Maxx and goods worth £205.99 from DV8 in the Tower Centre.

The case was adjourned to October to fix a date for a contest.
