The Air Ambulance was tasked to an area close to the bottom of Ballykeel One in Ballymena on Wednesday afternoon following reports of an accident.

The helicopter landed in a grass area beside a pathway which leads from the estate along the River Braid to Ballykeel 2.

A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “NIAS despatched one Rapid Response Paramedic, two emergency crews, two doctors to the scene. The Charity Air Ambulance HEMS team was also tasked to the incident.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no one was transferred to hospital.”
