POLICE in Ballymena are appealing for information following a report of burglary at residential premises at the Leighinmohr Crescent area.
Constable Glasgow said: “Sometime between 1pm on Wednesday 31st October and 5:30pm on Thursday 1st November, it was reported entry was gained to a house in the area. Two laptops and a quantity of jewellery was taken during the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1259 1/11/18.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
On the weekend of October 12-14 police received reports of six burglaries at houses in the Leighinmohr area.
