Antrim woman ‘experiencing anti-social behaviour’ breached her bail

Coleraine Courthouse

An Antrim woman accused of assaulting a male occasioning him actual bodily harm has admitted breaching bail.

Jennifer Logan (42), of Donegore Drive, is accused of an assault on April 21 this year.

She had been released on bail with a condition banning her from having any contact with the alleged injured party.

A police officer told Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday June 18 that the defendant had turned up at an address.

Defence barrister Ben Thompson said the breach was accepted.

He said the defendant and her sister “were experiencing anti-social behaviour” and Logan had gone to an address.

Mr Thompson said the individual she was banned from having contact with then answered the door.

The defendant was released on her own bail of £500 and is banned from having any contact with her alleged victim.

The case was adjourned to Antrim Magistrates Court on June 26.
