Antrim’s Summer Market in the Square

There will be a Willy Wonka theme at the event.

On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June Market Square, Antrim will be buzzing with an artisan food and craft market atmosphere.

The two-day event will showcase delicious local, food, drink and unique crafts.

On Saturday the event will run from 12 noon until 10pm and on Sunday between 12 noon and 6pm. On Saturday, the family entertainment and market stalls will be open until 6pm.

There will be plenty of free family fun over the weekend to keep everyone entertained.

This will include street performers, children’s arts and crafts and a petting farm.

You will also enter the historical Barbican Gate and experience the fairy-tale world of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Meet Willy Wonka’s cousin and indulge in the chocolate making workshops. Join Charlie Bucket and his mischievous friends on this magical journey.

Ruby’s Bar, Antrim have lots of live music planned to make your day at the market even more entertaining. On Saturday, Juram, Neill Collins and Keni B will have your toe’s tappin and on Sunday they welcome back Neil Collins and Alan Lafferty.

Free car parking will be available at Central Car Park and Castle Street. Parking is also available at Railway Street, however charges will apply.
