An arrest warrant was issued at Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 8 for a man who failed to appear for sentencing on charges including possessing Methylamphetamine and cannabis and having an airsoft rifle over one joule without holding a firearm certificate.

David Grys (28), who is Polish and with an address at Hugomont Avenue in Ballymena, also assaulted and resisted a police officer and was driving while disqualified and without insurance in July this year.

On another date in July he assaulted three people and stole £63 worth of goods from Poundland in Ballymena.

A defence solicitor said he did not know where his client was and District Judge Nigel Broderick issued an arrest warrant.
