Arrest warrant issued for woman who said she missed train to take her to court


A woman who failed to attend Coleraine Magistrates Court two weeks in a row has been convicted on tendered evidence and an arrest warrant issued.

A defence lawyer for Rebecca Johnston (22), whose address was given as Hydebank Wood Young Offenders Centre in Belfast, said she missed her train on Monday October 22.

The defendant was charged with assault; assault on police; resisting police and criminal damage to a police car relating to October 7, 2017.
