Ballymena man given custodial sentence for Phenazepam offences

A Ballymena man who had Class C Phenazepam and possessed it with intent to supply has been given a six months custodial sentence and also has to spend six months on licence.

Declan Higgins (33), of Dunvale, had the case dealt with at Antrim Crown Court.

He also has to undertake drug counselling.

The court ordered that ‘drugs, notes, paraphernalia and a telephone be forfeited and destroyed’.
