Ballymena man had stun gun and also damaged electricity meter

A Ballymena man who had a stun gun and who also damaged an electricity meter and dishonestly used electricity has been given a four months jail term, suspended for 18 months.

William Dunlop (36), whose address was given as Wakehurst Court in Ballymena, had his case dealt with at the local Magistrates Court on October 11.

The electricity is being paid back when top-ups are purchased, the court heard.

The electricity offence happened at Dunclug Gardens in the town.
