Ballymoney’s big Halloween event takes place on Monday 29th October – and you are invited!
The Showgrounds will be transformed with a scarily spectacular range of activities and entertainment beginning at 6.30pm with a family friendly fun fair.
There’ll also be a fire juggling vampire, a glow-in-the dark hula-hoop performer, dazzling fire poi, live music from The Fundamentals and a fireworks display.
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is delighted to introduce free Slime Workshops to the event for the first time beginning with a Quiet Time Slime Workshop from 5pm – 6.30pm for children with additional needs and continuing until 8.30pm which is open to all.
At 6.30pm, a Lantern Parade, organised by The Ullans Centre, will leave from Castlecroft Square and travel to the Showgrounds.
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Brenda Chivers said: “We have an exciting evening of Halloween fun planned for all the family in Ballymoney and we look forward to seeing you there.
“It is part of a series of fantastic events taking place across the Causeway Coast and Glens making this the ideal destination to enjoy an autumn break.
“We would like to thank our sponsors Gareth Witherow and Ruth Owen, owners of The Tides Restaurant, Portrush and The Newbridge Restaurant, Coleraine, for their continued support and don’t forget to look out for their goodie-bag giveaways.”
The popular fancy dress competition is open to all babies, children and young people with great prizes up for grabs in two age categories 0-5 and 6-11. The organisers are looking forward to seeing all ghosts, ghouls and creatures of the night compete for the prizes.
