Broughshane man was detected without insurance at 7.30am

A Broughshane man detected in an uninsured Honda Civic at Douglas Terrace in Ballymena at 7.30am on January 26 this year said his own insured car had broken down and he had no other way of getting to work.

Robert Graham (58), of Main Street, was speaking at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday May 31 where he admitted charges of no insurance and absence of MOT and was given six penalty points and a £350 fine.
