Charges withdrawn against Gracehill teenager after caution accepted

A Gracehill teenager accused of possessing an offensive weapon – a knife – in a public place and possession of drugs including cannabis, LSD and MDMA has had the charges withdrawn after accepting a caution.

Daniel Brown (18), of Ballymontenagh Road, was alleged to have committed the offences at Moat Road, Ballymena, on May 7 this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday June 14 where the defendant’s legal representative was Stewart Ballentine.
