Claudy man appears at Coleraine Magistrates Court and admits Ecstasy charges

A Claudy man has pleaded guilty to charges of possessing Ecstasy and having the Class A drug with intent to supply.

Jack McDaid (22), of Brecanlea, had the offences detected on May 12 this year.

He appeared in the dock at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday June 4.

He was represented by defence barrister Ben Thompson.

The defendant was released on continuing bail and the case was adjourned to July for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
