Court due to hear of ‘special reasons’ regarding Ballymena man who was on road with excess alcohol

ColeraineCourt9 - Edited

A solicitor says a man admits driving with excess alcohol but he will be outlining “special reasons” to a future court regarding his client.

Geoffrey McLoughlin (55), of Corlea Gardens in Ballymena, committed the offence on June 16 this year at Demesne Avenue near his home.

The defendant was using a crutch when he appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on October 11 where he was represented by Stewart Ballentine (James Ballentine & Son).

The case has been adjourned to November.
