Court today: Man is charged with being disorderly at McDonald’s in Ballymena

A Ballymena man has been charged with being disorderly at the town’s McDonald’s Restaurant.

Bailie McDowell (21), of Upper Princes Street, also allegedly assaulted a male and is accused of damaging a police cell on the same date – August 4 this year.

The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 29.

The case was adjourned to December 6 and the defendant was released on £500 bail with conditions including a night time curfew; a ban on consuming alcohol in public and he is barred from the area around McDonald’s.
