Gaston welcomes assurance that a polling station will be in Glarryford for next year’s council elections

THERE will be a polling station in Glarryford ahead of next year’s election of new councillors to Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.

Glarryford Traditional Unionist Voice councillor Timothy Gaston has been keeping tabs on the situation regarding the use of the Farmers’ Hall in the hamlet.

At the monthly meeting of the Council, Chief Executive Anne Donaghy, said she raised the Glarryford matter with the Chief Electoral Officer and she was assured there will be a polling station there next May.

Cllr Gaston thanked Ms Donaghy for the update.
