Husband, wife and daughter deny charges related to alleged Ballymena incident

A HUSBAND, wife and daughter are denying charges related to an alleged incident in the Ballee area of Ballymena.

They are Alexander (47), Ena (41) and Chloe Galbraith (21), all of the same address in Drumtara, Ballymena, are alleged to have been involved in an incident on June 4, 2017.

Alexander Galbraith is charged with possessing an offensive weapon – a baseball bat – at The Towers Tavern – and is also accused of assaulting a female occasioning her actual bodily harm.

Ena and Chloe Galbraith each face one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the same female.

Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 8 heard the three family members are denying the charges.

Their cases were adjourned to November 22 to fix a date for a contest.

At the same court, the case of Muriel Mary Magill (52), of Drumtara, was listed.

She is accused of causing criminal damage to a vehicle belonging to Ena Galbraith on June 4, 2017.

That case was adjourned to November 22.
