Larne man James Hassin pleads guilty to speeding offence

A defence barrister for a Larne man accused of speeding entered a guilty plea on behalf of his client who was not present at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Lawyer Neil Moore told District Judge Nigel Broderick that James Alexander Hassin (34), was admitting the offence.

The defendant exceeded a 40mph limit on December 9, 2017.

The case has been adjourned until later in June.
