A 74-year-old man has been charged with causing criminal damage to two cars and being disorderly at Chichester Park East in Ballymena.
James Joseph Coleman, whose address was given as Chichester Park East, is also accused of assaulting the owner of one of the vehicles and causing criminal damage to the man’s kitchen window and door.
He is further accused of possessing a an offensive weapon – a hammer – with intent to commit an offence.
The charges are connected to an incident on September 6 this year.
The defendant appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 8 and was released on £500 bail with conditions including being barred from Chichester Park East.
He is also not to be under the influence of alcohol in a public place and he is not to contact the two vehicle owners.
