Man accused of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine is further remanded in custody

A man has been further remanded in custody in connection with 15 charges he faces including allegedly being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.

Mohammed Zahir Shah (34), whose address was listed as Galgorm Road, Ballymena, appeared at the town’s Magistrates Court on Thursday via video link from Maghaberry Prison where he is on remand on the charges.

He faces 15 charges including possession of crack-cocaine with intent to supply; possession of the Class A drug; possession of cocaine; possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The charges also include possession of cannabis and Diazepam and possession of Diazepam with intent to supply.

He is also charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, cocaine, cannabis and Diazepam.

The charges relate to dates in early June this year.

A prosecutor said a file has now been allocated to a senior prosecutor.

The defendant was further remanded, in custody, until September 13.
