A man accused of murdering his uncle appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday August 9 and his case was further adjourned.

Marek Marcin Sinko (37), originally from Poland with an address at Townhill Road, Rasharkin, is alleged to have murdered Eugeniusz Sinko on October 22 last year.

He was wearing a suit, shirt and tie on Thursday for the latest hearing connected to the case.

A prosecutor asked for a further adjournment.

The victim was aged 53 and died from brain injuries. His body was discovered lying outside a cottage on Townhill Road that both men shared.
