Man accused of supplying cocaine, cannabis and Diazepam has case sent to Crown Court

A man accused of drugs supply offences has had his case sent to Antrim Crown Court.

Mohammed Shah (34), formerly with an address listed as Galgorm Road in Ballymena but now listed as Crumlin Road in Belfast, appeared in the dock in handcuffs at Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 9.

He is charged with possessing cocaine and cannabis and Diazepam with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of cocaine, cannabis and Diazepam.

A prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the papers before the court there was a case to answer.

Defence solicitor John McAtamney had no contrary submissions.

District Judge Nigel Broderick remanded the defendant in continuing custody to appear at Antrim Crown Court for arraignment at the end of November.
