A man who has pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a horse called ‘Flush’ has had his case adjourned to February for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Roy Archer (58), whose address was given as Creevy Avenue in Belfast, admitted a charge of theft.

The case was on the list at Ballymena Magistrates Court on January 10.

The theft happened in 2017.

At the time Bellaghy woman Demi Moore put out an appeal on social media for help from the public in finding ‘Flush’ who she described as a “much loved family pet”.
