Man denies charges of possessing a knife in a public place; tampering with a motor vehicle and criminal damage to plant pots

A Portstewart man has pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing a knife in a public place in the town; tampering with a motor vehicle at Station Road and criminal damage to plant pots.

William Raymond Stevenson (48), of Station Road, is accused of committing offences on July 6 this year.

At Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday the case was adjourned to fix a date for a contest.
