Man is accused of a number of theft offences in Ballymena

An 18-year-old man has been charged with a number of theft offences in Ballymena.

Adam Watt, of Devenagh Way in the town, is allegd to have had a head torch and multi-tool for use in the course of burglary and theft on October 23 this year.

On the same date he is accused of stealing a bicycle.

Another charge sheet shows that also on October 23 he is alleged to have entered a wash house at Thomas Street and stolen a bicycle and on the same date he is accused of stealing a bike, laptop and camera.

The defendant is also alleged to have damaged a bicycle belonging to a female on October 11 and in relation to October 20 he is charged with dishonestly handling stolen goods including an XBox, medication and Euro coins.

He is also accused of dishonestly handling stolen goods – a bicycle – on October 23.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on November 15 and adjourned to mid-December.
