A man has admitted stealing a wallet and making false representations by using a stolen debit card to buy items worth around £31.

Philip Lowry (43), of Lodge Road, Coleraine, committed the offences on May 13.

He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday, where he was represented by solicitor Keith Kyle, and pleaded guilty.

The defendant was released on his own bail of £300 and the case was adjourned to July for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
