A MAN caught driving without insurance for a second time has been warned by District Judge Nigel Broderick that if it happens again he faces a custodial sentence.

Alex Iulian Berchi (21), of Dunfane Avenue in Ballymena, was detected using a Vauxhall Corsa without insurance at Cambridge Avenue in the town in July this year.

He also failed to produce his licence to police.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday the defendant was banned from driving for three months and fined £325.
