A man who was disorderly at the Causeway Hospital in Coleraine during the Christmas holidays last year told a police officer: “I know where you live”.
John Doherty (55), of Queens Court, Coleraine, appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on February 4.
Defence solicitor Garrett Greene said the defendant had been “frustrated” because of a delay in a relation receiving treatment.
Deputy District Judge Peter Magill said: “The court views any disturbance at a hospital as a serious matter”.
The defendant was given a two months jail term, suspended for two years.
