NEW tourism branding is on the way to Mid & East Antrim Borough aimed at targeting potential visitors to the area.
It will include a new visitor guide, website and social media channels.
Minutes of a council meeting show councillors were told that the brand is seeking to be “authentic, fresh and focus on tourism products which were unique to Mid and East Antrim.”
Councillors were told one area of opportunity was geneology.
A spokesman for the Council told ‘Ballymena Daily’: “Following on from the Mid and East Antrim Tourism Strategy a specific tourism brand has been developed which will be used to target potential visitors to visit the borough.
“Following on from the new brand there will be a range of tourism collateral including a new visitor guide, website and social media channels.
