Offences detected at Pentagon Retail Park beside Ballymena Police Station

A Cushendall man has pleaded guilty to driving offences and also possession of drugs.
Jake Conor Boyd McClafferty (23), of Kilnadore Road, had offences detected in August last year.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court guilty pleas were entered to seven charges which were detected at the Pentagon Retail Park in Ballymena.

The charges were: possessing cannabis and Xanax; no L plates displayed; being an unaccompanied L driver; no insurance; a licence offence and driving whilst unfit.

The defendant was immediately disqualified from driving.

The case was adjourned to September for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
