A person who took food worth £100 from Sainsbury’s in Ballymena just over two weeks after stealing cotton wool worth 80 pence from Tesco in the town last year has had theft charges withdrawn after accepting a caution.

Mariana Seres (47), of Dunclug Park, Ballymena, had the matter mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on February 21.
