A Moorfields man has been given six penalty points and fined £200 for using a vehicle – a Vauxhall Vectra – without insurance.

Gregory Warwick (40), of Whappstown Road, had the offence detected by police who were on patrol at Ballymena’s Larne Road Link in February this year.

The case was mentioned at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday June 14 where Nigel McIlrath was the defendant’s solicitor.
