Police investigating collision in which a woman from the Ahoghill area died have made a new appeal for information

POLICE investigating a fatal collision on Roguery Road in the Moneyglass area on Thursday September 17th have renewed their appeal for witnesses.

The PSNI say the incident occurred around 6:15am and involved a green Ford Ka, a black Ford Focus and a Scania articulated lorry.

Vivienne Pieterse, aged 50, who had been driving one of the vehicles, died.

She had recently moved to the Ahoghill area and was originally from South Africa.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in or who was travelling in the area around that time, or any witnesses to contact police in Ballymena and the Collision investigation Unit by calling 101, quoting reference 243 of 17/09/20.

The PSNI say, alternatively, information can also be given anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
