Update: Missing pup Debbie which slipped its lead on way to foster family has been found

The missing dog ‘Debbie’ has now been found.

A HUNT in the Ballymena area for missing dog Debbie which slipped its lead whilst being taken to foster family ended successfully.

The Cavapoo pup called ‘Debbie’ went missing around 3pm on Saturday afternoon in the area of Ballee Roundabout.

Cavaliers in Need N.I. who rescue, rehabilitate and re-home cavaliers and other small dogs posted the following message on their Facebook page:

‘Please Help By Sharing This Post and Notifying Us of Any Sightings updated at 12 on 18/11.

‘Last seen Ballee Road West at 8.30am beside 7 Towers Roundabout

‘This wee one has slipped her lead at around 3pm on Saturday 17 November. She’s a cavapoo and was on her way to her foster family and is a puppy farm rescue. She is not chipped and does not know her name. We’re calling her Debbie.

‘If you see her please call Sandra on 07526280932.

‘If you can spare an hour or two to help us catch this poor wee soul please come to the 7 Towers Roundabout

On Monday they posted a picture of Debbie and the following update: ‘Debbie has Been Found Safe n Sound Whoop whoop!

‘Updated at 6.30am on 19/11

‘So team work makes the dream work! Thanks so much to everyone who helped and for all the prayers for her safe return.

‘Big shout out to Barry for getting the dog traps. Thanks so much to everyone who helped. She is tired, dirty but unharmed. Off to vet this morning.

‘We are so grateful for all your help.’
