CARNLOUGH’S Brendan Rodgers has won his seventh trophy as manager of Celtic.
His Glasgow side beat Aberdeen 1-0 on Sunday in the Scottish League Cup Final.
Since arriving at Celtic Park, Rodgers had now won every domestic tournament on offer and is still on course to land a treble treble by doing a clean sweep in Scotland this year.
After the match on Sunday he said: “I feel very satisfied. Of all the trophies we’ve won this is probably the most satisfying because it wasn’t an easy start to the season for us.
“We played against a tough team today at the end of a tough week and the players came through to show that mentality, strength and talent.
“It’s big hearts they’ve got and another trophy.”
