Star-gazing at Carrick-a-Rede is out of this world

Carrick-a-Rede on the north coast was delighted to host an evening of star gazing on Saturday night.

The Northern Ireland Amateur Astronomy Society (NIAAS) brought their specialist equipment and expertise to assist members of the public to see the stars from Larrybane.

Carrick-a-Rede is designated as an official Dark Sky Discovery Site.

National Trust thank NIAAS for assisting in facilitating this spectacular event, all of which was free of charge for guests.

Please follow Carrick-a-Rede National Trust on social media to find out about future events of this kind at the site.
