Woman admits having cannabis but denies supply charge

A woman has admitted possessing cannabis but is denying a charge of having the Class B drug with intent to supply.

Nuala O’Neill (22), whose address was given as Distillery House at Beresford Court in Coleraine, had the case mentioned at the town’s Magistrates Court on October 15 where her legal representative was barrister Michael Smyth.

The case was adjourned to October 29.

Meanwhile, Alan Norton (32), of Tullyarton Road, Coleraine, had been a co-accused but had charges of possessing cannabis and having the drug with intent to supply withdrawn by the prosecution on October 15.
